Job: Electrician, Edinburgh

Join our clients skilled team to perform planned and reactive maintenance on forging presses, furnaces, machine tools, electrical installations, and PAT testing. You'll be responsible for all aspects of electrical plant maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support site business objectives and operational improvements.
  • Ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance efficiently.
  • Assist with new/modified parts, equipment, and tooling introductions.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safe systems of work.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Identify and address training needs.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Time-served Electrician with City & Guilds 2360, HNC level, or equivalent.
  • Proven fault-finding skills and ability to read technical drawings.
  • Experience with electrical installations, preventative maintenance, and medium voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of safe working practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
