First Achieve's Engineering Division have once again partnered with our Global Client in aerospace engineering, in their search for a Maintenance Electrician. Working out of their facilities near Edinburgh.

OVERALL KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To apply fault finding and problem-solving skills relating to manufacture and equipment failure to continually improve processes.
  • To participate in continuous improvement activities such as Lean manufacturing techniques, T.P.M, Asset Care, and 6's etc

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Time serve Electrician City & Guilds 2360, HNC level or equivalent City & Guilds
  • Must have a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical

drawings.

  • Using test equipment and hand tools to diagnose, locate and fix electrical problems.
  • Carrying out electrical installations and carrying out preventative maintenance work
  • Interpreting work instructions, drawings and schematic drawings
  • Prior industry experience in electrical maintenance covering medium voltage distribution systems, equipment breakdowns, trouble shooting, and working with inspection and maintenance programmes to meet statutory requirements is essential.
  • Knowledge and application of safe working practices
