Our client, a distinguished entity in the Defence & Security sector, is actively seeking an Electronics Engineer (PCB) for a contract position. This role is pivotal for those who possess significant experience and a passion for developing cutting-edge technology within high-stress environments.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware requirements capture and management
  • Concept development for complex functions and systems
  • PCB design for FPGA
  • High speed digital design and analysis
  • Integration and test
  • Design of supporting electronics, including point of load power and analogue
  • Production of material for design reviews
  • Development of test planning, integration, and design verification
  • Mentoring and supervision of more junior team members


Job Requirements:


You really must have:

  • Proficiency with design of high-speed digital PCBs with large FPGAs
  • Experience with design tools and lab work
  • A passion for new technology
  • A desire to improve how we deliver to our customers


You will have experience in several of the following areas:

  • Designing electronics for harsh environments
  • PCB for FPGAs
  • High speed digital interfaces (10 Gbps and faster)
  • Matlab
  • Spice
  • Mentor DxDesigner
  • Hyperlynx
  • Keysight SIPro/PIPro
