Your new company and role

This role is with a world renowned digital consultancy with a strong presence in Scotland. They are looking for an experienced IAM consultant to join for an initial 6-month contract with a possible extension.

The role shall be able to work with autonomy in the Identity field and be responsible for managing the implementation and operation of Identity tools. In addition to managing the day-to-day operation of system and application security, this role will make recommendations for future development of Identity systems within the group, reviewing and analysing Identity tooling reports to drive improvements.

Implementer of Security change and incident response from Identity tooling, providing advice and guidance to other areas of the group. Working on projects and managing relationships with business users will be an essential part of the role.

What you will need to succeed

  • Grounding of deep technical experience
  • Knowledge of cloud identity best practices
  • Operational experience within a financial service regulated firm
  • Experience with audit event collection and reporting toolsets
  • Have a good understanding of identity management tools
  • Analytical and methodical approach to demanding challenges
  • Familiar with working to a high level of accuracy and having a dedicated and focused work ethic
  • Effective communicator
  • Positive 'can do' attitude, solution oriented
  • Technical security qualifications preferred
