They strive to care for and maintain theNatural elements of the landscapes and seascapes across Scotland, and serve allthe people of Scotland.In this role, you willjoin the People and Organisational Development team providing well-establishedpeople services to the organisation, delivering professional and responsivepeople HR, Organisational Development and Payroll provision. This organisationare currently going through a significant period of change as they evolve theirHR and People services, and so they are now recruiting for 2 x People Advisorroles to join their established team.Your new role You will provide ahigh-quality, customer-focused professional people service, in line withrelevant policies, best practice and employment legislation that meets thebusiness objectives. You will also support managers and employees to delivertheir best to meet our corporate plan objectives. You will be a key member ofthe team and deliver a high-quality and responsive service as well ascontribute to the delivery of our current People Programme. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have the following attributes -

  • CIPD accredited or willing to obtain a professional HR qualification
  • Have previous HR generalist experience, including employee relations
  • Be able to coach others, or willingness to learn coaching skills
  • Have an understanding of employment, payroll, and equality legislation, including HR best practice
  • Have excellent organisational and analytical skills, including the ability to manage a diverse and busy workload
  • Be able to demonstrate good communication skills, including influencing, listening, and clear written and verbal presentation
  • Be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills that contribute to collaborative working and a customer-orientated service provision
  • Be familiar with HR / Payroll systems such as Oracle, and be a frequent user of Microsoft Office applications, including online communications tools.
  • Have experience or an understanding of working in partnership with Trade Unions
  • Demonstrate an awareness / understanding of Data Protection Legislation and Freedom of Information requirements
