Description

  1. Project Planning

Working closely with the Director of Justice and Head of Programme:

  • Acting as the lead for the project plan, owning and managing the overall project plan and ensuring it is regularly reviewed and maintained with the project teams Supporting team members to identify and agree tasks, milestones and deliverables required for successful project outcomes
  • Allocating tasks and accountabilities and ensuring that team members and delivery partners understand what is required and the deadlines involved
  • Identifying interdependencies across project workstreams including operations, communications, governance and resources
  • Track project budgets effectively, using appropriate project management tools to monitor expenditure against allocated budgets
  • Reporting on progress to internal governance/project groups and to external stakeholders proving monitoring reports and charts summarizing progress tailored to specific audience.
  1. Co-ordination

Working closely with all team members to:

  • Build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in programme delivery to support collaboration and effective teamwork
  • Coordinate implementation groups and workstreams to support the delivery of the Programme
  • Manage the schedule of activities
  • Facilitate meetings and ensure that agendas and papers are circulated in a timely manner and that resulting actions are followed up
  • Produce progress reports to support effective project management Minute meetings for actions and decisions
  • Communicate updates to partners and the team.
  1. Risk management

Working with the Director of Justice and Head of Programme to:

  • Support project teams to identify risks across workstreams and the overall Programme
  • Develop and maintain a risk register for the project
  • Manage issues, risks and escalation associated with the project
  • Highlight and escalate any significant changes in risk status and propose remedial action.
  1. Governance

Working with the CEO to:

  • Support and coordinate the work of the Programme Board and develop the partnership agreement for the Programme
  • Coordinate meetings and ensure minutes and actions are recorded
