Location: Edinburgh

Hours: Full-Time, 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and every second Saturday

We're looking for a dedicated yard manager to oversee daily operations in our Edinburgh yard, ensuring smooth workflow, stock control, and health and safety compliance.

What you'll do:
  • Manage and coordinate yard operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation.
  • Oversee the loading, unloading, and storage of materials.
  • Maintain stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and monitor supplies.
  • Lead and supervise the yard team, ensuring high performance and motivation.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and drivers to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.

What we're looking for:
  • Previous experience in a yard manager or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of stock management and logistics.
  • Forklift license and experience operating machinery is desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong focus on health and safety.
