My client is seeking a highly motivated and organised Executive Assistant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support senior executives and play a key role in the smooth running of a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the senior management team.
- Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations with exceptional attention to detail.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of executives.
- Coordinate and prepare for meetings, including the preparation of agendas and meeting materials.
- Take accurate minutes at meetings, ensuring all actions and decisions are recorded clearly and distributed in a timely manner.
- Manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Support day-to-day office operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of the team.
- Organise and manage special projects as required.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in an Executive Assistant or similar administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to tasks and challenges.
- Experience with minute-taking and the ability to transcribe meetings accurately.
Desirable:
- Experience in managing multiple calendars and complex scheduling.
- Knowledge of office management procedures and practices.
- Previous experience in a corporate or fast-paced environment.
