As Broker Manager your responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Manage and develop relationships with both existing and new brokers in the region
  • Work closely with Credit and Operations colleagues to ensure all broker requests are managed efficiently, resulting in a seamless experience.
  • Manage personal activity and pipeline to ensure personal targets are achieved. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of activity and results using CRM and other systems as required and advised from time to time
  • Work as part of a regional team reporting to the Regional Director.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of competitor activity and market developments and feeding these back as required. Contribute to the Regional and wider business development strategy through positive interaction with other members of the team and also the wider team and also the wider SME Lending team
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and functions as may be required from time to time

About You

If you are currently in an Asset Finance role or are currently working as a Broker Manager this is the ideal next step in your career

Skills required for the Broker BDM role:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous asset finance sales experience within a highly targeted sales led organisation
  • Strong awareness of Industry Sector and regulations
  • Solid demonstrable commercial negotiation skills
  • Extensive field sales experience in financial services sector
  • An excellent understanding of the Asset Finance sector
  • Ability to work within a robust team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate ongoing understanding of key performance drivers
  • Ability to work on own initiative as role is home based
  • PC skills to include Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage self in a constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrate proven success in sales career to date
  • Ideally some relevant sector experience and existing connections
  • Ability to clearly articulate an understanding of the regulatory environment in which an asset finance business operates
  • Clean driving license
