The RoleAs an Audit Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and effectively. Your expertise will help clients achieve their goals while contributing to the firm’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management:

  • Plan, control, and review client work to ensure efficiency.
  • Conduct pre-audit meetings, prepare time budgets, and review detailed planning memos.
  • Supervise audit teams, review work, and monitor job profitability.
  • Draft management letters, finalize accounts, and prepare fee schedules.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide training, mentorship, and feedback to develop team members.
  • Conduct appraisals and address day-to-day staffing needs.
  • Promote collaboration and maintain a positive working environment.

Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for additional client services and referrals.
  • Participate in tenders, presentations, and advisory projects.
  • Encourage cross-team collaboration to deliver holistic client solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in external audit and general practice.
  • Strong understanding of corporate tax and company work.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with experience in Sage, CaseWare, and tax software preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical solutions to complex business challenges.
