Role Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients across various sectors, delivering high-quality services tailored to their needs
- Lead audit engagements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards
- Provide strategic advice to clients on financial reporting, risk management, and compliance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their trusted advisor
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex audit assignments
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Ensure efficient audit processes, meeting deadlines and budgets
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including cross-selling services and attending networking events
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm’s audit strategy

Candidate Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Extensive experience within an accountancy practice, with a focus on audit
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building lasting relationships
- Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset to identify and seize business opportunities
- Exceptional organisational and project management abilities
