The Role

The Cash & Banking Manager requirement is a pivotal role in the finance function, and to enable the business to operate with maximum efficiency. Finance is considered to be a good place, and we are seeking an individual that is excited by a "good to great" journey, so it’s imperative the individual is passionate about process improvement, continuous improvement and developing others.

The new Cash & Banking Manager will inherit a team bursting with raw talent, and with the right mentoring it’s a case of "when" rather than "if" they reach their full potential. The key components of the role will include:

  • Partnering with Departmental Head and the SLT to ensure treasury activities enable operational requirements
  • Hiring, training a developing a team of finance professionals
  • Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems including involvement in process/continuous improvement projects
  • Overseeing cash allocation & cash management
  • Leading on banking, assisting with covenants & external bank point of contact
  • Feeding into month-end, yead-end, and financial control & reporting
