iMultiply are working in partnership with an exciting organisation in Edinburgh for a Finance Business Partner to provide high-quality financial analysis and management accounting services on a temporary to permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key finance contact for multiple teams, offering expert insight into financial performance.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality management information to support budget monitoring, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget, providing technical support and financial guidance to budget holders.
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Support year-end statutory accounts preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and reconciliations.
  • Maintain the asset register, ensuring alignment with financial systems and statutory accounts.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including budget holders, auditors, and local government bodies.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Proven experience in a finance business partnering role or similar financial management position.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to present financial information in a clear, concise, and meaningful way.
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting principles.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is desirable.
