Search are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Finance Manager on a part-time basis (3 days) for our Edinburgh based client with hybrid & flexible working. Reporting to the CEO, you will be involved in financial & management accounting, payroll and compliance. Additionally, you will work with senior stakeholders to support the organisation's strategic development.If you are a Qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE) Accountant looking to join a reputable organisation that offers incredible flexibility, a supportive culture and involvement in wider strategic goals, you'd be encouraged to apply. Your responsibilities will include:* Preparing and presenting management accounts to senior stakeholders. * Preparing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance.* Developing budget in coordination with relevant stakeholders. * Managing monthly payroll. * Overseeing control procedures.* Providing administrative support when required. * Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations & corporate governance. * Contributing to the wider strategy of the organisation. Skills & experience you'll ideally have:* Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant. * Comfortable preparing year-end & management accounts. * Knowledge of payroll systems.* Understanding of financial control procedures and VAT. * Strong IT knowledge including Excel and accounting packages. * Budget preparation and control experience.* Managerial experience desirable.
