Meraki Talent are excited to bring to market, a newly created opportunity with our leading global client to recruit a Financial Reporting & Control Specialist.The role will be based in Edinburgh and will work with key internal stakeholder locally, but also in London and Globally.The role reports directly into Director level and will have extensive oversight of accounting functions, whilst also having scope for:

  • Providing key support on group consolidation account and reporting activity
  • Ensure the integrity of General and Sub-ledgers
  • Oversight of Financial and Balance Sheet controls and reconciliations processes
  • Support with delivery Statutory Reporting and group audit
  • Provide key support to wider operational finance and operations teams
  • Partner with FP&A on ad hoc and non-finance project initiatives
  • Develop and improve group reporting systems and continue to drive process improvements to improve efficiency and the control framework

This is an exciting time to join this small team, that will be going through a number projects and migration initiatives and will suit someone with confidence to develop and manage key relationships with stakeholders and project/change teams.Ideally, you will have 3-5 years PQE experience, having worked with large/global service sector businesses, possibly financial services.
