Search are supporting the recruitment of an interim Transactional Finance Manager to oversee our client's Billing, Credit Control, and Supplier processes on an initial 6 month basis. Based in Edinburgh with hybrid working, if you have demonstrable experience leading a transactional finance team with knowledge of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, you'd be encouraged to apply. Your key responsibilities will include:* Manage and mentor a team, ensuring effective output and career development.* Oversee AP & AR functions, ensuring effective controls.* Build positive team culture and drive continuous process improvements.* Manage payables, client collections, aged debtors and credit risk.* Develop KPI metrics and report to Senior Management.* Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and manage corporate card spend.* Support system implementations and finance transformation projects.* Provide insight and reporting to wider Finance teams.Skills & experience you'll ideally have:* Extensive experience in AP/AR functions.* Proven track record of managing small teams.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.* Excellent communication and organisational skills.* Analytical mindset with the ability to consider the bigger picture.What's in it for you:* A salary of circa £47k-£52k.* Private healthcare & dental insurance.* Generous work from abroad policy.* Generous leave allowance. * Hybrid & flexible working.
