Role Responsibilities

As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior, you’ll be responsible for assisting with a wide range of client assignments. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting the completion of audits, from planning to fieldwork and finalisation, for a diverse client portfolio
  • Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for SMEs and other businesses
  • Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts when required
  • Liaising directly with clients to gather information and build strong working relationships
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
  • Working towards achieving professional qualifications with the support of the firm

Candidate Requirements
  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent, with ambitions to complete your qualification
  • Experience in audit and accounts preparation within a practice environment
  • Strong technical skills and a good understanding of accounting standards
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive and client-focused approach
  • A team player with the ability to manage your workload effectively
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or similar systems is advantageous
