Role: Inspector
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: 12.50 - 14.82 per hour
Full time 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Performs quality control inspections
- checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
- Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.
- Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
Experience & Skills
- Needs to have Mitutoyo CMM experience
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and related experience and able to show proven capabilities of related experience.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
You will report into a supervisor.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Full BPSS* Screening (*Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. UK DBS and Drugs Screening.
