Job Title: Legal PA - Corporate & CommercialLocation: City Centre, EdinburghType: Full-TimeAbout the RoleA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Legal PA to join a leading firm in the corporate and commercial sector in Edinburgh. You will provide essential support to a team of partners and fee earners, ensuring smooth operations and effective management of client and matter-related activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with finance teams to manage client billing, reports, and financial performance, including working capital and matter balances.Support business development efforts by organising events, conferences, and assisting with CRM, bid preparation, and fee earner CV updates.Assist with the management of client relationships, including organising meetings, events, and compiling client reports for key accounts.Handle all matter management tasks, ensuring compliance with firm protocols, such as rate application, engagement letters, and matter specifications.Oversee conflict checks, client due diligence, and ensure accurate completion of the Client Matter Inception (CMI) process.Take charge of file management, including matter closure, bill payments, and archiving of completed files.Manage complex diaries, travel, and meeting arrangements, identifying cost-effective solutions.Prepare meeting packs, itineraries, and hospitality requirements.Take ownership of administrative tasks using firm-specific tools, ensuring timely completion.Delegate relevant tasks to document production, including legal documents and pitch documents.Maintain technical competency and support fee earners by addressing knowledge gaps.Adhere to risk and compliance policies, ensuring all training and compliance documentation is completed on time.

Skills and Experience RequiredStrong verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a comparable environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional client service skills and a commitment to exceeding expectations.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.A strong desire to work flexibly to meet client needs in a fast-paced environment.
