M365 and Azure Administrator - Near Edinburgh (Hybrid, 3 days in/2 WFH)

Lorien's long-standing, successful and expanding client, with offices very commutable from Central Edinburgh and the surrounding regions, is looking to recruit a Software as a Service Administrator to join their team.

You'll be part of a close-knit function putting your skills to good use as you contribute towards the success of a firm who have improved the lives of millions around the globe already. The successful individual will take the reins across the admin, config and management of the wider SaaS portfolio, identify and resolve issues, and ensure relevant licences are in place and fit for purpose, all while enjoying working for an organisation giving something back to the world in a very positive way.

An outline of some of the duties involved:

  • Owning the daily admin/configuration/maintenance/optimisation of the wider M365 & Azure-focused SaaS portfolio (covering application/security configuration, user/integration management, and monitoring/reporting/resolving of relevant application issues
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding best practice, governance and consistency, as well as external vendors
  • Overseeing, optimising and compliance and cost-analysing relevant licences
  • Leading SaaS-oriented projects employing project management workflows/planning
  • Bring new ideas to the table around workflow/process improvement, automation, and standards

The skills/knowledge they're looking for:

  • Track record of management/administration of Microsoft SaaS offerings, especially Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Background including M365 service architecture, IAM, security, compliance and other relevant areas
  • SaaS administration skills as well as applicable training / qualifications
  • Solid grasp of Cloud Computing, cloud/hybrid implementations, and market trends
  • Ability to work with people at any level, as well as liaise with external vendors on matters such as incident tracking, portfolio updates and new features
