Escape Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Facilities Management provider in Edinburgh. We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance/Fabric Joiner to join the maintenance mobile team, covering various commercial sites in the Edinburgh area.
Role Overview: As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on building fabric across a range of commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general FM and building fabric maintenance.
- Collaborate with other trades within the mobile team as required.
- Complete PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks within deadlines to meet client expectations.
- Conduct general repairs, particularly on internal doors, and also work on windows, skirting boards, walls, and more.
- Proactively address any client concerns or escalate them to senior management when necessary.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications required:
- A qualified / time served Joiner.
- Previous experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Familiarity with working in a busy FM environment is ideal.
- Full UK driving license (max 6 points).
- Willing to complete a Disclosure Scotland check.
