Portfolio Lead - IT Audit / Economic Crime

Are you ready to take on a leadership role in audit and risk management? We have an exceptional opportunity for a Portfolio Lead within a dynamic Group Audit & Conduct Investigations (GA&CI) team. In this role, you’ll use your expertise in technology and risk to provide high-quality, independent assurance on internal controls and risk management across the business.
What You’ll Do:
As a Portfolio Lead, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of audits, ensuring that activities are impactful, timely, and aligned with strategic goals. You will:
- Lead audit planning and execution, building relationships across teams and delivering valuable insights into risk and control assurance.
- Prioritize your work and that of your team, ensuring efficient delivery while removing obstacles.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring to colleagues, helping them grow and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
- Champion business strategy by connecting audit insights to business goals at the macro level.
- Represent Group Audit at key committees and work closely with senior leadership to influence decision-making.
What You’ll Need:
- Strong experience in auditing cloud platforms, software development lifecycle, and modern engineering practices, with a solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Economic Crime.
- A proven track record of leading Economic Crime audits, covering key products, processes, and IT systems.
- Expertise in identifying risks associated with technology in business processes and applying IT controls knowledge to audit automated business controls.
- Excellent communication skills to manage and influence senior stakeholders and deliver high-quality audit reports.
- Critical thinking abilities to interpret internal and external data, providing forward-looking insights on risks and opportunities.
- Strong project management skills, able to multitask and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills That Would Be Useful:
- Knowledge of Economic Crime regulations.
- International Compliance Association (ICA) qualifications or equivalent.
