The CDM Principal Designer
- Provide expert advice on CDM regulations to clients and project teams
- Develop and review Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and Pre-construction Information (PCIs)
- Conduct health and safety audits and inspections
- Facilitate CDM workshops and training sessions
- Collaborate with design teams to identify and mitigate design risks
The successful the CDM Principal Designer
- Strong background in construction or design with Principal Design delivery experience
- A thorough understanding of the CDM 2015 regulations
- Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety
- Membership with professional bodies such as IOSH or APS
- Proven experience working within a consultancy environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A proactive and positive attitude, with commitment to continuous professional development
