Meraki Talent are partnering up with one of the largest and leading accountancy firms in Scotland and UK on the appointment of a Resourcing Manager.

Resourcing Manager will be responsible for distributing work within Audit department, while working closely with Directors and Partners.

The Role

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently looking for a Resourcing Manager to join their Audit team. As a Resourcing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective deployment and utilisation of team members across the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to balance commercial objectives with employee development and engagement. Your expertise in resource planning will help optimise workforce allocation, ensuring seamless project delivery while driving efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand client and project resource requirements.
  • Drive utilisation and advise on best practices for resourcing solutions.
  • Identify strategic resource allocations that align with business needs and individual skill sets.
  • Manage competing demands to ensure optimal outcomes for both clients and the business.
  • Maintain and oversee work planners to ensure smooth workforce coordination.
  • Ensure clients receive high-calibre teams with the right mix of industry experience and technical knowledge.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience in resource planning and workforce management.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
