We are looking for a Solicitor/Senior Solicitor (1+ years PQE) to join an established Real Estate team in Edinburgh, specialising in Rural Land & Business. This is an excellent opportunity to advise on high-profile rural property transactions, forestry investments, and land development projects, working with a top-tier legal team in a dynamic and evolving sector.

Description

  • Managing purchases and sales of estates, farms, forestry, and rural land.

  • Advising on forestry investments, natural capital projects, and carbon sequestration.

  • Handling development transactions, including option agreements and land sales.

  • Providing legal support on rural developments, including renewable energy, telecoms, and infrastructure.

  • Assisting with landlord and tenant matters, title investigations, and property disputes.

Profile

  • A solicitor or equivalent with 1+ years PQE, with experience in property law.

  • Genuinely interested in rural property, land management, and natural capital.

  • Skilled in title investigation, contract drafting, and negotiation.

  • A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to manage transactions independently and provide high-quality client service.
