We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join a small team of skilled engineers and technicians as a Structural Revit Technician based in Western Edinburgh.
If you possess a proficiency in Revit and have a keen interest in working on diverse projects including industrial centres, hotels, residential complexes, and commercial units, and distilleries we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating closely with architects and engineers to translate design concepts into detailed Revit models.
- Creating accurate and comprehensive technical drawings and documentation using Revit.
- Ensuring that designs align with project requirements, building codes, and standards.
- Participating in project meetings and contributing insights to optimize designs.
- Assisting in the coordination of various design disciplines within the project team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Revit Technician, preferably in an engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software is essential.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
