Job Description: Technical Developer - D365 F&O

Location: Edinburgh

Contract Position: 6 Months

Rate: £450 Per Day

We are looking for an experienced Technical Developer with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions, with a strong emphasis on creating and managing integrations with third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customise, and maintain solutions within D365 F&O to meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement seamless integrations between D365 F&O and external systems, ensuring data accuracy and optimal system performance.
  • Leverage tools such as Azure Logic Apps, Data Entities, APIs, and the Power Platform to facilitate integrations and workflows.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in integrating D365 F&O with third-party applications using tools like Azure Integration Services, OData, REST APIs, and Logic Apps.
  • Strong proficiency in X++ programming, D365 F&O frameworks, and the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Azure DevOps, Power BI, and the Power Platform.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data migration and master data management in D365 F&O.
  • Knowledge of ERP implementation best practices and cloud-based solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or Dynamics 365 Developer Associate are highly desirable.
