Pertemps are delighted to be supporting our esteemed client in the recruitment of a Tool Hire Salesperson.Location: EdinburghSalary: £40,000 negotiable on experienceWork Schedule: Full-Time, 45 hours per weekMonday to Friday and every second SaturdayRole Overview:We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Tool Hire Salesperson to join our team in Edinburgh. This role involves driving sales growth by building strong relationships with customers, providing expert advice on tool hire solutions, and delivering exceptional service. If you have a proven track record in sales and a passion for the construction or hire industry, we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities:This role includes managing and developing a portfolio of clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. You will provide advice on the best hire solutions to meet customer needs, prepare quotes, and process hire contracts efficiently. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tool hire products, monitoring competitor activity, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are essential. Additional duties include maintaining accurate records, assisting with stock availability, and working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the tool hire, construction, or related industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A solid understanding of tool hire products and their applications is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
