Job Title: Handyman

Location: Edinburgh

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance experienced Handyman to cover a large site in Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and both planned and reactive maintenance within your skillset.
  • Manage subcontractors in line with company policies.
  • Liaise with suppliers to optimize costs while ensuring good value.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople with maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection, and installation tasks.
  • Conduct minor repairs to building fabric to ensure safety and security for clients, staff, and visitors.
  • Safely respond to adverse weather conditions, including snow clearing, gritting, flooding, and high winds.
  • Participate in training to meet service requirements and enhance skills.
  • Carry out duties at various sites within your portfolio.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies across all sites.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Address maintenance issues promptly to minimize penalty deductions per project agreements.
  • Keep all servicing records updated and compliant with statutory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in maintenance or handyman roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
