This role involves developing and implementing key initiatives to support an effective Health and Wellbeing Service across Scotland.Location: Scotland hybrid workSalary: B 8, CompetitiveKey ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of a professional Health and Wellbeing - Occupational Health Advisory Service.Support the HROD Manager in implementing health, safety, and wellbeing strategies and policies.Develop and review Health and Wellbeing Policy and Clinical Governance arrangements.Conduct pre-placement health assessments and ongoing health surveillance.Manage and deliver Lead Practitioner activities and Nurse-led clinics.Make specialist decisions on fitness for work, including complex cases.Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and legislation.Undertake vaccinations and health checks.Lead Health and Wellbeing projects and manage external contracts.Provide specialist advice to managers and represent the Service in professional groups.Monitor Health and Wellbeing Services performance and achieve continuous improvement.Develop and maintain good working relationships with managers, employees, and external bodies.Essential CriteriaRegistered Nurse (RN) with NMCDiploma/Degree in Occupational Health/Public Health.Experience in making complex clinical decisions.Proven case management experience and report writing skills.Competent in Clinical History Taking and Physical Examination.Knowledge of current health, safety, and relevant legislation.Experience in developing and implementing Health and Wellbeing policies.Ability to gather and analyse data and prepare reports.Effective communication and organisational skills.Valid driving license and ability to travel.Desirable CriteriaPrevious experience in a similar role.Experience delivering health surveillance programs and health promotion activities.Experience with stakeholder engagement and managing clinical teams.Experience leading and managing projects.Personal Qualities & AttributesCommitment to diversity and integrity.Openness to Change.Confidence and Resilience.Effective Communication.Problem-Solving.Situational Awareness.Commitment to Excellence.Planning and Implementing.If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call Agne Miklusiene on .
