Assistant People Partner

Edinburgh

£16.57 - £17.17 per hour + holiday pay

Temporary Contract - 6/8 weeks

REED Business Support are pleased to be working with one of Edinburgh's leading Housing Associations who are looking to recruit an 'Assistant People Partner' on a temporary basis for their current busy period on the run up to Christmas. Working in the office, you will be responsible for reporting into the head of HR and assisting the team with various hr assignments.

This is an interesting role working within a highly ethical organisation who does great wok throughout the UK.

Details:

Monday - Friday // 09:00 - 17:00 

Hybrid Working Pattern (minimum 2 days in office)

Start Date: 5th of November

Key Responsibilities:

- Support, advise and guide managers when providing support and advice on employment relations issues to ensure legislative requirements are met

- Advise key stakeholders on HR and employment issues through partnership working to ensure a collaborative and consistent approach across all Strategic Business Units

- Undertake exit interviews when required and provide feedback to appropriate parties to encourage departmental and manager reviews and development

- Advise managers on the recruitment process and their recruitment strategies to find the most suitable person for the role.

- Contribute to the development and training of HR policies and procedures to minimise and manage risk.

What we're looking for:

- Previous HR Advisor / recruitment experience- Previous experience working closely within the onboarding team- Previous experience within the third sector (Not essential but desirable)- Good level of admin skill- Solid IT skills particularly MS Office
