LHH is delighted to support our public sector client who play a key role in the Arts & Culture sector in Scotland, as they seek to appoint an HR Officer.

This role works in partnership with colleagues across the organisation to provide a quality and accessible operational HR service. The role is responsible for providing advice and guidance to line managers and employees on a wide range of HR related issues. The HR Officer will also play a key role in training and development programmes for staff, recruitment and selection activities and will be responsible for the delivery of strategic projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection and specific analytical skills to support the delivery of key projects and service across the HR function. We require the successful candidate to demonstrate they have up to date knowledge of existing employment legislation, best practice, and professional standards in HR.

You will be highly organised, with the ability to self-plan and prioritise your workload, as well as excellent interpersonal skills including communication, influencing and the ability to build strong relationships within the organisation. The role will require a result-driven, customer-focused, and collaborative-team-focused mindset.
