We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to be an instrumental part in developing our business in Scotland driving hire, sales and business development within the renewable energy sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and promoting our renewable energy solutions to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have some sales background, strong interpersonal Skills, and knowledge of the renewable energy industry, whilst having the ability to work independently traveling throughout Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic growth plan to achieve and exceed targets.
- Identify and engage potential clients including businesses, developers, and energy providers.
- Promote solar, battery storage, energy management and other renewable energy solutions tailored to client needs, through hire & Sales.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and consistent proactive outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on renewable energy products and services.
- Negotiate contracts in alignment with company objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and revenue forecasts.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance and market insights to the sales leadership team.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in B2B sales in the renewable energy, sustainability, or power generation industries. Preferred but not essential as full training and support will be provided,
- Some understanding of solar, wind, energy storage, and other renewable technologies. Full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tailor solutions to client needs.
- A growth-driven mindset with a passion for sustainability and clean energy solutions.
- Willingness to travel throughout Scotland as required.
