AGILE DELIVERY LEAD - INITIAL 3 MONTHS - OUTSIDE One of loriens leading public sector clients is undertaking a number of change programmes to modernise the delivery of its services, underpinned by technology. The Change Labs are looking for an Agile Project Manager/Delivery Lead to join the team to lead on planning, supporting the team to achieve a high level of performance and quality, and deliver agile projects that can demonstrably deliver high business value to users and stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with the delivery teams. Responsibilities will include:

  • Schedule management and high level change control (scope management)
  • Risk, Issue, Assumption and Dependency management
  • Supplier management
  • Negotiating and unblocking
  • Compliance with in house LOAD delivery methodology
  • Project reporting
  • Target delivery

The role requires co-ordination, communication and influence; the successful candidate will work closely with the scrum master to contribute to a positive working environment, enabling the agile team to achieve optimal delivery.

Essential Criteria:

The candidate will be required to evidence

  • Strong project management skills previously deployed in agile projects - schedule management, risk management, reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering measurable business value

The candidate will have experience managing both agile and traditional projects, incorporating both software delivery and the associated business change.

The candidate will have an awareness of Digital First Service Standards, and Government Digital Services (GDS).Desirable:

  • Agile certification
  • Project management certification
  • Experience of user research
  • Azure Devops
