IT Service Desk Analyst - Law Firm - Edinburgh

A leading law firm based in Edinburgh requires an IT Service Desk Analyst with strong 1st & 2nd line IT support experience.

You will be part of the wider team across company sites across Scotland, based in the Edinburgh office with remote support to some of their other offices.

This role is Hybrid, with 3-4 days a week in the office as required.

Experience required:

  • Excellent 1st & some 2nd line IT support experience in Windows 10 and MS Office 365
  • Administration of Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange
  • Worked on an IT Service Desk for at least 12 months
  • Any experience in supporting legal systems such as Big Hand, iManage, case management systems, document management systems, digital dictation systems, etc. would be a bonus
  • Good networking experience - patching, knowledge of DNS/DHCP, WAN etc
  • Some experience with VMware Horizon View or other VDI technologies such as Cloud (Azure), Hyper-V or Citrix

This is an excellent IT Support role for a leading law firm, that will keep you busy by providing variation in projects and responsibilities due to company expansion.

Duties in the role include:

  • Providing 1st and some 2nd line support to the 600+ user base via the Service Desk, managing the life cycle of support requests through to resolution
  • Build and manage IT including Laptops, iPhones and Desktops.
  • Participate in IT projects as and when required
  • Process all IT-related aspects of Personnel Change including new starters
  • Maintain the IT asset register & IT Knowledge Base.
  • Deal with 3rd party suppliers when appropriate

My client is looking to pay a starting salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience + benefits. As this role is Hybrid in Edinburgh, you must be able and willing to commute to the office on a regular basis.
