Power BI Developer Opportunity with International Law Firm

An international law firm is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to lead a newly formed team, ensuring that new technologies and processes are efficiently adopted firm-wide. This firm operates in over 30 countries and has built a reputation for innovation, turning technology, insight, and talent into ground-breaking solutions. This role offers a unique chance to drive the firm's commitment to leveraging cutting-edge tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards, providing actionable business intelligence aligned with design standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Manage and optimise the firm's Azure data platform, ensuring smooth data integration through Azure pipelines.
  • Develop DAX calculations and implement row-level security for Power BI reports.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues, recommend improvements, and document all processes for accessibility.
  • Create efficient ETL processes, optimise dashboards, and standardise Power BI usage across the firm.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience with SQL (T-SQL) for data manipulation.
  • Proficient in Power BI for report development, data modelling, and Power BI Service management (workspaces, gateways).
  • Strong knowledge of ETL frameworks for data extraction and transformation.
  • Expertise in DAX for advanced data calculations and modelling.
  • Experience with Power Query and advanced data visualisation techniques.
