Data Computer Services are looking for an IT enthusiast to join their team as an IT Support Apprentice. You will be joining an established IT support business to help provide support to onsite engineers and remote support staff. The successful applicant will be trained to provide IT support to business customers as well as administering online cloud based systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of hardware/software
  • Computer networking
  • VoIP installs and support
  • Operating system installs and support
  • Setup and support of security products and services
  • Installation and management of cloud based systems
  • Answering telephone and liaising with business customers

What skills will you learn?

  • How to fault diagnose PC issues
  • Experience is setting up both hardware and software
  • A good understanding of IT network and security requirements
  • Dealing with customers in person and on telephone

Required skills:

  • To have a personal interest in computing
  • Good communication skills
  • A friendly manner

Salary:

£15,000 per annum

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
