Position: Permanent Small Works Working Foreman (Reactive)


Location: Edinburgh Area (Various Locations)


Salary: Competitive, based on experience


Type: Permanent, Full-time


Are you an experienced Working Foreman with a passion for small works and reactive projects? We're looking for a proactive, experienced individual to join a Global Contractor.


As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of reactive small works projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities:


* Manage and oversee reactive small works projects from start to completion, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.
* Supervise and coordinate site teams, including subcontractors and tradespeople.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining excellent relationships.
* Carry out site inspections and risk assessments, addressing any issues proactively.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, including maintaining accurate documentation.
* Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring skills development and high performance.


Essential Requirements:


* CSCS Card
* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
* Strong understanding of construction processes and health & safety regulations.
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in small works or reactive maintenance.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred (but not essential):
* A background in Joinery would be advantageous, but we welcome candidates with a another Trade background.
