Role Overview
My client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong presence in Edinburgh, is seeking a proactive and skilled Town Planner to join their team. The role offers the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects across various sectors, providing valuable planning services to clients while contributing to the development of the city and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and submitting planning applications and supporting documentation.
- Conduct site appraisals and research planning policies, regulations, and case law.
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate planning processes.
- Support senior planners in managing and delivering planning projects.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in planning legislation and policy.

Key Requirements
- A degree in Town Planning or related discipline accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
- Some relevant planning experience, ideally in a consultancy or development management context.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A keen interest in urban development and planning in the Edinburgh area.
