The Edinburgh Real Estate Disputes team are looking to hire an Associate at the 4-6 years PQE level.

About the Role

The team are known for being highly commercial in their advice and offer the prospect of working closely with key clients. Associates are also strongly encouraged to get involved with business development initiatives in Scotland and London. The team advises on a wide variety of real estate disputes including those relating to dilapidations, landlord and tenant issues, statutory compensation, insolvency and energy. The work we do for our clients is often high profile and at the cutting edge of dispute resolution. Whilst you will be a key member of our Scottish team you will also work with our team across the UK. About You

We are currently recruiting at 4-6 PQE + for an Associate. You will understand real estate, litigation, and have good commercial experience. You will be expected to provide in-depth case analysis whilst being able to manage substantial disputes under partner supervision.You will work directly with clients. This will include taking instructions and preparing high quality and concise party/party correspondence, instructions to Counsel, pleadings and other court and arbitration documents.You will also be able to support the team with business development opportunities and be encouraged to take the initiative in developing your own and the team's client relationships and market profile.We work collaboratively within a team environment and support not only the development of the practice but also the team's culture and values.

You must be Scots Law Qualified.
