In-House Real Estate Senior Associate/Managing Associate (4 - 7 PQE)

Joining an innovative In-House Real Estate Team, you will work closely with clients to provide end-to-end managed legal services. This firm is looking for a senior associate/managing associate to support a dynamic client portfolio, delivering legal services in new and creative ways. You will act for a leading retail company, managing their property estate with cutting-edge technology and a dedicated team of specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage client work, supporting junior team members
  • Handle a variety of commercial property matters, including leases, renewals, licenses, and acquisitions
  • Lead the day-to-day operations and resource allocation for the client team
  • Participate in client management, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the implementation of legal technology and client self-service projects

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • 4-7 years' PQE in commercial property and real estate matters
  • Experience with retail clients is a plus
  • Ability to manage your own portfolio and assist with complex client mandates
  • Strong leadership skills to supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and continuous improvement in legal services
  • Proficiency with legal technology tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Resilience, ambition, and a client-focused approach
  • Consideration will also be given to candidates from a commercial background with experience in M&A, licences, lease renewals and general estate management experience
