Join Our Client's Team as a Legal Secretary

Are you a meticulous and organised individual with a passion for the legal field? We are on the lookout for a talented Legal Secretary to join our clients dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a distinguished law firm with a long history of providing exceptional legal services!

About the Role:As a Legal Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting two of our Partners in the residential property department, while also assisting other Partners and solicitors when necessary. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Audio Typing: Efficiently produce a variety of correspondence, forms, and legal documents using digital dictation.
  • Administrative Support: Manage documentation, open new matters and files, and handle general administrative tasks related to conveyancing transactions.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain polite and effective communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch)
  • Client will consider part time hours

Salary:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from £28,000 to £30,000.

Key Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the legal team.
  • Maintain and organise case files and client records with precision.
  • Take telephone messages from clients and other professionals, ensuring timely follow-up.
