As part of the firm’s growing Legal Project Management (LPM) function, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and delivery of legal services. Key Responsibilities of the Legal Project Manager

  • Project Leadership: Provide expert project management support on client-facing legal matters, ensuring they run smoothly, efficiently, and on time.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with clients and legal teams to understand their goals and deliver tailored LPM solutions.
  • Process & Innovation: Develop and implement project management tools, methodologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
  • Governance & Structure: Establish clear project frameworks, governance models, and reporting mechanisms to drive accountability.
  • Risk & Resource Management: Oversee project plans, risks, budgets, KPIs, and resource allocation to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead project meetings, track performance, and identify opportunities to refine processes and improve legal matter management.

Skills & Attributes of the Legal Project Manager

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Management Consultant, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of legal operations, process improvement, or service delivery in a corporate or legal setting.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Commercially aware, client-focused approach with a keen eye for driving efficiencies and value.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
