To provide transactional support to the Edinburgh Commercial Real Estate team in connection with purchase, sale, lease transactions and ancillary support/admin services.

Description

  • Preparing dispositions and other documents in sale/purchase of commercial real estate transactions.
  • Preparing/checking draft LBTT forms.
  • Carrying out searches on ScotLIS.
  • Drafting and submitting Advance Notices.
  • Drafting and negotiating lease management contracts such as rent review memoranda, licenses for works, minutes of variation.
  • Supporting the Edinburgh real estate in legal administration of ongoing matters, including client onboarding and file opening.
  • Assisting the team with the preparations and circulation of client reports.

Profile

  • Must have a thorough understanding of the processes involved in a standard sale and purchase of commercial real estate.
  • Must have had experience in commercial lease management work.
  • Experience of working well in a team to deliver high levels of client service under time pressure.
  • Paralegal or legal qualification would be preferred.
