My client is one of the largest independent lift companies in the UK, with a strong presence across multiple regions. They specialise in lift installation, maintenance, modernisation, and repair for a wide range of clients, including commercial, residential, healthcare, and public sector buildings.

Due to company expansion and new contract wins, they're actively seeking an NVQ Level 3 Qualified Engineer to join their Glasgow Branch, covering a local route within the City of Edinburgh.
The role will involve the following duties;

Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of lifts across a dedicated Edinburgh route.

Perform minor repairs and adjustments to ensure lifts remain in top working condition.

Respond to callouts and breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs.

Conduct safety checks and inspections in line with industry regulations and company standards.

Provide excellent customer service, keeping clients informed of work carried out and any recommendations.

Complete accurate service reports and documentation using company systems.

Work in accordance with health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaborate with other engineers and management to ensure efficient service delivery.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have the following;
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in lift servicing and confidently carrying out small repairs.
- An NVQ/SVQ 3 in Lift Servicing or Installation.
- A full UK Driving License.
The position offers a fantastic remuneration package, including;
- A basic starting salary of up to 45,000pa with a view to review this after probation up to 48,000pa.
- Excellent standby and callout fees for participating in the night call rota.
- 25 days' annual leave, in addition to Bank Holidays.
