An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Shift Manager to join a fast-paced and dynamic logistics operation. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient movement of goods through a hub-and-spoke network, maintaining high standards of service, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve performance and service targets.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, transport, and industry regulations.
- Optimise resource allocation and workflows using data and technology.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Proven experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain, preferably within a hub-and-spoke model.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Comprehensive knowledge of logistics regulations and industry best practices.
