Engineering Shift Manager

Engineering Shift Manager required to lead a maintenance team on Shift in a fast paced & growing FMCG business for a market leading company commutable from Falkirk, West Lothian, Stirlng & Fife.This position is based on a day/night shift pattern. Based in Edinburgh!!

The Role:

• Provide engineering advice and coaching where necessary.
• Manage and/or participate in manufacturing improvement project teams
• Lead team of engineers within proactive and reactive maintenance in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Schedule, collate and generate data on a monthly basis of all site plant from a condition monitoring viewpoint, highlighting pre-fail components

The Candidate:

• Must be a good communicator
• Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing equipment
• Recognised apprenticeship qualification or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
• Understanding of the contribution Engineering can make to the achievement of Manufacturing KPIs
• Must have been in a leadership role within engineering and has extensive experience of managing people
• Must be or have been a multiskilled engineer with hands on experience within manufacturing preferably FMCG
