Description
- Carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery and facilities.
- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on a variety of production machinery.
- Working closely with production staff to maintain machinery efficiency.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
- Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
- Keeping accurate records of all maintenance work completed.
- Contributing to the efficient running of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Technician should have:
- A strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, ideally with 18th edition.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a practical mindset.
- A qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with diagnosing and repairing faults in production machinery.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
