A growing and well-established Facilities Management provider to the built environment are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to support a number of maintenance works across multiple commercial sites throughout Edinburgh on a full-time permanent basis.

This commitment includes genuine opportunities for upskilling and training across various disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Engineers will have the chance to gain valuable qualifications such as Electrical certifications, Commercial Gas certifications, and F-Gas 2079 through time. 

Employed in a mobile position covering Edinburgh, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Maintenance, reactive tasks and PPM’s
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual statutory compliance tasks including tap temperature checks, emergency lighting tests, fire alarm tests, air handling unit maintenance etc.
  • Changing belts, filters, pumps etc.
  • Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings maintaining various systems
  • Participate in the companies on-call rota to provide their customers with full out of hours cover

Essential requirements:

  • Experienced and skilled in carrying out Facilities Maintenance in a commercial environment
  • Understanding of mechanical/electrical and/or HVAC systems
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
