Salary/Rate: 80,000 Basic Salary Plus 4-5K Car Allowance

A well-established, and rapidly expanding principle contractor who are currently looking to recruit a Operations Manager to work with them on a permanent basis. This company has gone from strength to strength each year and have an exciting growth plan in place. Due to recently winning new contracts which are due to commence imminently, they are looking to expand their team.

You will be working on a 25M Social Housing Refurbishment scheme in Birmingham. You will be directing and overseeing the site team on Kitchen and Bathrooms and E.W.I schemes in tenanted and void properties.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Assisting, supporting and managing Project Managers, Site Managers including Assistants, Admin staff and Trades team to safely deliver a 25 million social housing scheme
  • Oversee day to day running of each scheme including planning, scheduling and resource allocation for each site
  • To guide the site team and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Act as primary contact with clients whilst maintaining excellent communication and addressing any concerns
  • Ensure all the Site team are adhering to Health and Safety Regulations and company policies
  • Managing relationships with Suppliers and Subcontractors and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Maintaining Accurate Records, documenting site progress and completing paperwork

Requirements

  • A strong background in the social housing refurbishment sector including EWI/Kitchen and Bathroom Schemes
  • CSCS Black Card
  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of PAS 2030/2035 - Desirable
  • A Recent DBS check or willing to have a DBS check
  • Experience managing multi-storey residential projects
  • Excellent management and communication skills
